Going out in Llandudno is a unique experience. The upper end of Mostyn street houses many of the popular bars in Llandudno, including Fountains, Club 147, The Palladium, Fat Cats, The London and The Lounge, the latter of which is gay friendly. Many of these cater to a young clientelle and are usually full to the brim on a saturday night until about 11pm whereby a large amount of the revellers head to the southern side of Mostyn Street to dance the night away in two of Llandudno's Big Nightclubs: Broadway Boulevard or The Washington.

For a more discerning drinker, traditional ale pubs in Llandudno include The Kings Arms, The Cottage Loaf and The Town House have a more friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and are located more widespread through town.

Some popular names who have performed recently have included Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics, Status Quo, McFly, The Doves and Ian Brown, as well as classical music, musicals and Stand Up Comedy.
