Visit Llandudno and Outlying Areas: Eglwysbach

The rural village of Eglwysbach comes alive each August when it hosts a colourful agricultural show for the region - this annual agricultural and horticultural show is a major North Wales event, even attracting participants from the Royal Welsh Show.

An ideal location for those who are longing for some days in the countryside. You can do numerous walks around the surrounding rolling hills. Some of these will reward you with beautiful views of Snowdonia. Eglwysbach is centrally located about 20 minutes from Llandudno, Colwyn Bay and Conwy. Betws-y-Coed is another 5 minutes. Beaches and shops in all these towns. Snowdonia and Anglesey are also within easy reach.

The village is situated nearby the internationally renowned Bodnant Garden. 80 acres of gardens with its famous laburnum arch - at its best from late May to late June - and magnificent display of magnolias and camelias (in Spring) and rhododendrons (early Summer), together with formal lawns and the natural environment of 'The Dell', Bodnant Gardens is well worth a visit.
