Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza

LlandudnoAs a website dedicated to bringing you the best from Llandudno, it’d be a definite miss for us here at Visit Llandudno if we didn’t cover the fantastic Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza this year so here we go!

Anyone who’s ever had the pleasure of attending an Extravaganza before will understand why the build-up is always intense and never disappointing as thousands of people flock to the seaside town with only more coming in with each passing year.

Originally started as a way of celebrating Victorian innovations and the Queen of Welsh Resorts’ illustrious past, it’s fair to say that the occasion has become much bigger in the three decades since its first edition. Nowadays, you can expect excitement suite for people of all ages.

The line-up for this year is as impressive as ever and has many fantastic acts and performers taking part across a range of different backgrounds and skills. Up for 2014 are Chris Marley, Absolute Magic hosted by Jay Gatling and dancing from Linzi Grace amongst many, many other. Be sure to visit the Extravaganza site for a full itinerary of what’s on.

Additionally, you can enjoy some traditional carnival games which always provide a great opportunity for some family bonding. Win some great prizes in the coconut shy, hook yourself a toy from the duck pond or aim your sights on some fantastic delights in the shooting saloon – there is such a great array of activities over the 3rd, 4th and 5th of May that you and the family will love.
