This years Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza is set for the May Bank Holiday weekend (4th, 5th and 6th May 2013). This event is one of, if not the biggest annual event in Llandudno’s calendar, with thousands of locals and visitors making the effort to go along and enjoy the town in all of it’s glory.

Those that visit the town will be entering a zone of joy, entertainment, education and happiness. Steam Engines, Victorian Musical Organs, Vintage Cars and Costumes, Sideshows, Stalls, Classic Arcades and Fairground Rides are all set to serve visitors of the Llandudno Victorain Extravaganza in 2013. Go and see people dressed up in Victorian era clothing, operating authentic Victorian sideshows, with jugglers, stilt walkers, buskers and much more.

The event takes place every single year and partners the Llandudno Transport Festival that takes place over the same weekend in the Bodafon Fields, just outside of the main town – within walking distance of the Extravaganza. The town of Llandudno completely transforms – and if you haven’t experienced the Victorian Extravaganza, then you really should. The high street will become pedestrianized  with thousands of people throughout the day enjoying the carnival like atmosphere  whilst enjoying some of the live music on offer, nice holiday vibe and annual parade that takes place at 1pm on each of the days.

The event is always a huge success, hence it’s annual presence in Llandudno’s calendar. The town is considered one of the finest seaside resorts in the whole of the United Kingdom and Wales, so anyone debating a short break in the area on an occasion like this should most definitely check out the Visit Llandudno website, which offers information and guidance on the area, along with ideas on where to eat, drink, sleep and check out to make the most of your trip!
