The gorgeous and historical Llandudno promenade serves as a starting line for an exciting event this summer! A magnificent collection of MGs will be flocking to the prom in order to take part in a charity run across the beautiful Welsh countryside for a great cause! From the sights at the promenade in Llandudno of the Great Orme and the gorgeous ocean, there is definitely a pleasing view and environment, that stems all the way to the blossoms of Bodnant!
The Llandudno MG Charity car run kicks off on the Llandudno prom, where up to 200 MG cars, old and new will be ready to set off on a car run all the way to Betws-y-Coed! The public is welcome to see the Snowdon run start and finish at Betws-y-Coed on the village green where a massive group of MGs will be cruising through the roads of North Wales. Having run for a number of years, the event is gaining a bigger and bigger crowd of cars every year, beginning in 2005 the Snowdon run looks like this year will be its biggest and best yet! Absolutely unmissable for any fan of cars!
Take your family to see the impressive collection of pristine automobiles.
Taking place on the 18th, the event aims to raise money for Ty Gobaith, a local children’s hospice in Ty’n Rhos.
The run will take place across approximately 90 miles of beautiful scenery, with a coffee stop at Llechwedd Slate Caverns and finishing up at the internationally famously gorgeous Bodnant Gardens. Entry fee to the event includes a free raffle and free entry to Bodnant gardens. There’s also a pre-event get together for drinks on the Saturday evening on the 16th at Sandringham Hotel Llandudno West Shore!
If you own a MG and want to get involved the entry fee is £17 per car!
