The café and restaurant are open every day of the year except for Christmas Day, with the café offering snacks, and the Otter Restaurant offering more substantial fayre. The all day breakfasts from £3 are particularly popular in the café. In the woodlands there are about 32 different species of birds, polecats and various creepy creatures. Down at the waterfall itself there are otters and crested newts, with ducklings and dippers appearing in the spring.
