Listing Description

The Old RectoryThe panoramic views from the gardens are reason enough for staying at this charming Old Rectory in Llansanffraid Glan Conwy, North Wales. Its hillside perch overlooks the grand sweep of Conwy Estuary, historic Conwy Castle and the mountain range of Snowdonia.

There are many things to delight the eye in this elegant Georgian Country House. Comfortable rooms abound with paintings and antiques.
The Vaughan's have created a calm, relaxing, unfussy atmosphere and have been granted many highly regarded awards and classifications which can be seen here.

This six-bedroomed country house is deserving of its deluxe tourist board classification and is ideal centre for touring North Wales, Bodnant Gardens, Betws-y-coed, and the Victorian seaside spa of Llandudno.
Originally the elegant home of the rectors of the parish for centuries, sadly in 1740 the Tudor House was seriously damaged by fire. In 1810 it was renovated in the Georgian style.

The Old RectoryThe Welsh motto of the house Hardd Hafan Hedd means a 'beautiful haven of peace' and we can think of no better description. Relax and enjoy the comfort and tranquility of the surroundings. The antique furnishings and collection of Victorian watercolours are for all to enjoy.
The Old Rectory's six comfortable bedrooms, each with its own distinctive character and charm, convey that calm, unfussy, 'staying in a friend's home' feeling. All bedrooms are equipped with the thoughtful little extras to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
